January 12, 2017. We are proud to announce a joint research and development project together with the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology which aims to develop and put in operation an experimental unit based on the novel Stirling-cycle thermal motor.
On December 22, 2016, in Moscow, Thermal Motors has held the project commencement event together with the representatives from the Skoltech Center for Energy Systems, Skolkovo Foundation, Nissan Motor Manufacturing, and HMS Group. By the end of July, 2017, the Laboratory of the Skoltech Energy Center will be equipped with a novel experimental system based on our thermal motor. The system will enable the centre with conducting cutting-edge research in the field of externally heated generation technologies for the distributed conventional and renewable energy applications, such as biomass combined heat and power, solar power, and energy for carbon-low transportation.
