March 28, 2019. We are happy to announce that the results of our joint work with the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) were recently published in the 100th volume of the International Journal of Refrigeration.

As a part of our ongoing effort to improve the performance of our extreme refrigeration technology, we studied the performance of a new configuration for the piston-sealing mechanism together with Skoltech, Thermal Motors’ research partner. The results were published in the 100th April issue of the International Journal of Refrigeration in the article “Experimental study of a high-tolerance piston-cylinder pair in the alpha Ross-yoke Stirling refrigerator” by D. Smirnov, V. Dvortsov, A. Saichenko, M. Tkachenko, M. Kukolev (all from Thermal motors LLC) and by A. Bischi and H. Ouerdane (from Skoltech).
